Harry Rodman - Drums & Vocals Harry has been playing drums for 34 years and comes by it naturally. Both his father and grandfather played drums, and his oldest boy has recently began playing drums as well. He's been playing in bands since he was thirteen. The first paying gig that he played was a high school dance in 1974 at Plymouth-Canton High School. The band was paid $50-for the whole band! Auspicious start eh? From there he went on to play for dances and parties throughout the Detroit Area. Around 1979, he hooked up with a few guys and went out on the road with a band called The Edge. It was quite the "rock & roll" experience! You name it it happened! Then, it was back to the Detroit area playing everything from country music in Moose and Eagles Clubs to backing up Elvis impersonators in Strip Clubs along 8 Mile and Woodward Ave. Around that time, he heard that local legend Benny & the Jets were auditioning drummers and bass players for a full time road gig. Harry and a bass playing friend auditioned together and landed the job. The Jets played everywhere from Las Vegas to Ottawa. |

| After a couple of years on the road, he settled into a full time gig with another Detroit legend, Jeff & the Atlantics 5 nights a week, 52 weeks a year! With the Atlantics, Harry played with the likes of The Contours, The Platters, Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon, Gino Washington, Martha Reeves and many others He spent most of the nineties filling in for his many drummer friends and then spent a year as a "way strong mojo" Witch Doctor along with fellow Bluescaster Doug. Enough history - these days he's driving the Bluescaster's machine! | ||
